About the work
This work is part of the Artistic Route series, a journey that unfolds along the roads of Western Europe, narrated through the faces of people met along the way.
On the bank of the Hunte, at the exact point where the great lock regulates the slow navigation of enormous barges, tall trees adorn the avenue leading towards the center of Oldenburg. In this place, at this time, the days are extremely long, almost as if the hours stretch out and the sunsets with their shades of purple seem to remain suspended in time.
